I founded Bishop Oak as there was a gap in the market for an outsourced payroll service that was fully HMRC compliant whilst providing a jargon-free, friendly service. My background in client relationship management and payroll meant that I wanted customer service to be at the heart of what we do. At Bishop Oak, we provide a flexible, personal payroll service that is accessible to all. 

It was important to me that we built a team that cares and created a working environment that is open and enjoyable to be in. Of course, there are lots of challenges that come with starting your own business but I am enjoying the daily steps to reach our bigger goals.

Noush Shirmardi

Operations Director

As Operations Director at Bishop Oak, every day is different and every day I walk out of the office with more nuggets of industry knowledge than I walked in with! The team has made my transition from the world of corporate offices as smooth as can be and I enjoy the fresh challenge each day brings. It’s great to be part of a business from the start and be part of something great that disrupts the industry and world of payroll. When I’m not reading up on the latest payroll legislation, you’ll find me upcycling antique furniture, fuelling my endorphins at the gym or spending time with my family. 

George Mensah

Sales Director

With a background in Sales, the move to Bishop Oak as Sales Director has been a great new challenge for me and the switch from selling office space to offering outsourced payroll services for recruitment agencies and the construction industry has been an insightful adjustment. Since joining Bishop Oak, it has been clear that the young (even if they’d probably refer to me as old), fresh and customer-centric approach of the team makes us different from other payroll providers.

When I’m not talking about payroll with potential customers, I enjoy spending time with my family and watching football. To be honest, if I wasn’t working in Sales I’d like to think I’d be living out my dream as a football manager!

Lori Panrucker

Account Manager

My role at Bishop Oak is twofold, firstly as Account Manager, I spend lots of time talking to clients which I really enjoy. The second part of my role at Bishop Oak is Sales & Marketing Executive, it has been great to utilise the skills from my previous roles to help push Bishop Oak to the forefront in the journey to being industry leaders. Every day for me is different. One minute I’ll be on a client call and the next minute I’ll be designing brochures and social media posts.  Outside of work, you’ll find me walking my dogs, enjoying the sunshine and dreaming of a holiday to the Maldives or Bali!

Jessica Watts

Marketing Manager

As Marketing Manager at Bishop Oak, I am responsible for all activities that generate awareness towards our growing brand. I’ve worked within the marketing industry for seven years, and always enjoy the challenges of taking on a new business category. Learning about outsourced payroll has been eye-opening, and I look forward to translating these lessons into useful information for our audience.

Accounts Assistant

I was looking for a change of direction and a new challenge which my role as Accounts Assistant at Bishop Oak has definitely given me. The team was so welcoming and it’s a lovely environment to work in. One of the things that makes us different from other providers and one of my favourite things about my job is high quality, personal customer service. I really enjoy chatting with our clients and learning new things about their businesses. When I’m not on the phone with a client or tapping away on my laptop, you’ll find me walking my dog – Callie and enjoying time with my family whilst planning my dream trip to Africa to go Safari.
